The 10 Best Father's Day Gifts I Found on Instagram

I’m gonna cut to the chase; Father’s Day is this weekend. And while I consider myself pretty adept at telling you what us moms want for Mother’s Day. And frankly for any other occasion on the calendar where we moms are getting gifts, in reality, I struggle, like most of you, when it comes to getting gifts for Father’s Day.

Why oh why are men so dang hard to find a present for? I honestly don’t know. But I have spent the last month observing and asking the guys in my life (both old and young) what some of the items are that fall into the category of; most favorite, can’t live without, things they tell their friends about.

They Found Me on Instagram

You know how those ads keep coming up on Instagram and Facebook? Like when you’ve been talking abot something or looking for something and then it’s as if the advertisers read your mind? Well, that totally happened to me with this. Some of these items I found (or should I say they found me) on Insta years ago. And then some popped into my feed in the last few months. As creepy as it is to think our phones are spying on us, in some ways these targeted ads do make shopping for something specific a bit easier.

My 10 BEST Father’s Day Gift Ideas:

Vuori

They targeted my on Insta and it lived up to the hype! The softest, most comfortable lounge and work out gear EVER!! Everyone I know that has tried them (both men and women) are hooked.

Buttery fabric makes this hoodie the perfect weight. Btw the same fabric comes in shorts, sweats and tee’s too.

M. Cohen Bracelet

When guys say they want to wear jewelry but can’t find a brand that feels modern, sporty and not trying too hard, this is it! Bracelets, necklaces - they work with sweats or suits and are just plain cool.

Obsessed with this bracelet. The pyrite beads make it look aged in the perfect way.

Tommy John

This brand has a cult following. They started out creating the most comfortable underwear and now have shorts, tee’s, polos, sweats, pj’s - all with 5 star reviews. The guys LOVE them. And, now they have women’s too!

Sleep shorts (with pockets) that are super soft and won’t pill! He’s gonna love them.

Yeti Rambler

I don’t know a man of any age that doesn’t like a Yeti. Keep your drink hot or cold and do right be the environment. Dishwasher safe too. It’s a win/ win all around. We fight over the Yeti’s in our house - so much so that we needed to get our names put on them so we knew which one belonged to each of us.

I like this style (it comes in a gazillion colors) because of the chug cap. So it drinks like a disposable water bottle. With the wide mouth style I tend to spill water all over my self - lol!

Solo stove

This was an Insta ad/covid purchase for us and the hubs adores it. Especially if you like a real wood fire, less smoke and have a small space - this is a dream.

This is the basic, smokeless fire pit. There are bundles that include bells and whistles that are cool. However, this guy totally gets the job done, and well.

Apple Watch Series 7

The Apple Watch has been a game changer for so many. If your guy already loves his, upgrade him to the series 7 with a larger screen. And if your dad hasn’t jumped on the apple watch train yet, now might be a good time.

I really like how the blue aluminum case and sport band look together.

Kindle Paperwhite

This is another one of those tech gifts (like the Apple Watch) that can be upgraded over time. And often something a dad might not indulge in for himself.

The newer Kindle Paperwhite has 10 weeks of battery life and can withstand water immersion (so no worries if it falls in the pool).

WONDERBOOM 2 Portable Speaker

My guys like to take this when the golf, or play soccer or wash the car. It’s super easy to use and transport. And the sound quality (at least according to the aficionados in my fam) is really good.

Available in a bunch of colors, but I’m drawn to this blue one.

Storyworth

Once again, an Instagram ad gone good. We gifted this to our parents during covid and once a week for 52 weeks a prompt was sent to them in order for them to share the stories of their lives.

I have to give special props to both my mom and Greg’s dad for keeping up with their stories. We now have a year's worth of stories of their lives, in book form, to share with future generations. This gift is truly priceless.

Ororo Heated Vest

Credit for this gift idea goes to my client Kathy. This vest is HEATED! Meaning if you’ve ever frozen your a** off at an outdoor sporting event, this is a genius invention. And if the man in your life is cold, all the time, like my husband, he might even wear it in the house during our long, cold, Cleveland winters.

4 heat zones. Lasts for 10 hours. I might need to get one for myself!
