What Mom Really Wants: Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Here’s the raw, unfiltered truth. We moms love Mother’s Day - we love our families and our kids, that gave us the title, mom. And, if I’m being honest, most of the time, not all of the time, but most, the gifts you get us kind of suck.

Don’t get me wrong… we are grateful for the effort. And we smile and say thank you, and we mean it. But the gifts don’t quite hit the mark.

I fully acknowledge we moms are partially to blame. I mean we put so much thought and effort into gift-giving for our loved ones, that our kids and spouses never really learned how to give a good gift. They rely on us. And even subtle hints we might drop - do just that, they drop, no one gets them - so the gift giving is kind of amateur (or half-assed to use a more crass term).

So, ladies, I got you this Mother’s Day!

Just forward this to your family and let them pick a gift - they’re all pretty darn fab, so you’ll be happy. And they’ll feel like successful gift-givers. And it can be our little secret.
