Red, White or Rose, You Need to Know About This Wine Gadget…
This is not a fashion post. This is however, something you need to know about, especially if you like wine. I may be making a big leap here but, from comments on IG, FB and on blog posts, I think many of you guys are winos just like me! A glass of wine (or two) at the end of a day takes the edge off. It makes the frame go a bit fuzzy, not like hard alcohol drunk, just a little happy. A glass, one could argue, can make me a better mom and wife. And my friends like it because I loose a bit of my filter and might say what I’m thinking, even though it should probably stay in my head.
Having a glass of wine is heaven, but drinking a whole bottle alone, that’s waaaay above my tolerance level. When, I’m at home, thinking about having a glass of wine, I usually pass. WHY? Because I don’t want to open an entire bottle of wine, knowing I’ll only drink a glass or two and the rest will go to waste. By the time I’m ready for another glass that delish bottle of wine will have become vinegar.

These last couple of weeks, we’ve been helping pack clients for summer trips. A few are headed to Napa and Tuscany so obviously, we got on the subject of wine, duh. And we were talking about the different wines and how yummy they are. and that when you bring them back those bottles sometimes don’t get opened because you’re scared of wasting them. I know I am not alone in this… who else is shaking their head right now?? If so, you’re just like I was when I first heard about this wine gadget, and how my clients were… eyes literally popped out of heads. Needless to say, 4/4 people ordered it, on the spot, before I left their closet.
BTW, this post IS NOT an ad – in fact, I’m pretty sure the Coravin wine gadget people have no idea who I am. This is more of a public service announcement. Wanting to share something I think is brilliant, a total game changer and something our clients are LOVING.

Ok, so What’s This Wine Gadget and How’s It Work?
This gadget is called Coravin and it’s a patented wine preservation system. It allows you to drink any wine, any time, without removing the cork!! Whether you want a sip, a glass, or more, your last glass tastes just as amazing as your first! Life changing, right?!?
How’s it work? A specially designed thin-wall needle gently penetrates the cork. While the wine is poured, Coravin’s recycled steel capsules fill the interior space of the bottle with pure argon gas to protect the remaining wine from oxidation. After pouring, the cork naturally re-seals itself, preserving the wine inside for days, weeks or years to come.
