Can we talk about how spring holidays sneak up on us every single year? One minute you’re still layering sweaters, and the next you’re standing in your closet wondering what to wear to a Seder or Easter brunch that’s happening this weekend.

This year, Passover starts the evening of April 1st and Easter falls on April 5th, which means they’re essentially back to back. And if you live anywhere with unpredictable spring weather (hi, fellow Ohioans), you know that “what to wear” really depends on whether it’s 45 degrees or 75 degrees that day.

So I went ahead and pulled 21 dresses, 11 for warm weather and 10 for cooler weather, to take the guesswork out of getting dressed for your spring celebrations. Whether you’re heading to a family dinner, a festive brunch, services, or hosting at home, there’s something here for you!

A few things I kept in mind while choosing these:

  • They’re all appropriate for a range of spring occasions. Not too casual, but not too fussy

  • There’s a mix of price points, because a great dress doesn’t have to cost a fortune

  • Every single one is something you’ll want to wear again (no one-and-done dresses here)

  • The warm-weather picks are breezy and comfortable; the cold-weather options work beautifully with tights, boots, or a great topper
